Everything you need to know about planning procedures
Planning Consent Procedure

The planning consent procedure can take up to 8 weeks - sometimes more. The Planning Department of your local council will require an application together with fairly detailed plans (drawn up by your own architect, we only supply you with an initial design plan lay out). There is a fee to process your planning application. We suggest that you put together a business plan/proposal before you approach the planners.

They will write to your neighbours about your application and will also publish your proposal in the local press. It is always a good idea to consult your planning department before you draw up any plans.

Building Regulations

Building regulations apply only if planning stipulates it is needed. If that is the case then we can quote for a cabin that will conform to full building regulations, U-value 0.27.
